Hello,

Since the template for the new chapter is still not fully stable,
please consider this a sort of experiment.
I converted 0209WG-WorkingWithTables chapter to the new template.
There are still many inconsistencies and things to fix, and I thought
that the best way to find out about them was to try.
I still have to create the new autotext for the tips/notes/caution
(which by the way should probably be vertically centred in the cell)
as well as a special keyboard layout to load when working on OOo
documentation (e.g. ctrl+1 = OOoHeading1, ctrl+i=OOoEmphasis and so
on...)

Most if not all of the pictures are anchored to the paragraph, not
only because of a bug in OOo3.0 but also because with the two columns
layout and normal anchor as character you very often see lots of space
at the bottom of the columns. A anchor to paragraph with some spacing
in the wrapping page of the frame formatting and a positioning at the
top or bottom of the column where the anchor is does a decent job in
keeping the half empty columns a rare event.
BTW... I will probably create a OOoPictureFrame style to automatically
include some spacing between the frame and the surrounding text.

Anyway... here's the link:

Cheers,

Michele

One observation: The Tip, Caution, and Note tables are vertically top aligned, not at center. It is barely noticeable for the Caution icon.
