"yes but you need to null the material first " Wish one ? I don't understand: the result is to have one material used in the mean time for the source object and for the splitted faces/ meshes... how could I set one null if I need it for both ?

" wish version for this improvement ?? does it still alow to use one material per face (I have a paint method to draw a mesh with a choosen material applyed on the face of a MouseEvent3D target, for example...) ?
