the application i'm creating is a kitchen planner, rooms are measured out and created dynamically. so the planes are varying widths and heights. Also the kitchen is not necessarily a cuboid. There are L and T shape rooms for example. I will eventually create the room walls out with doors and windows by combining jpg's.
Note I am using loaded textures for the frontal pieces, combined from components jpg files, like a drawer and door etc cheers Steve On Aug 18, 1:20 pm, desgraci <[email protected]> wrote: > but > if u want to have a lighting effect in the wall, sorry for insist, why > u just dont use i dont know a bitmap based material from some wall > texture, u can make it phong for example, or just prebaked, a .jpg is > not a big file, just asking, im curious, why is so important to do it > with ShadingColorMaterial?
