Hey Fabrice/David,

    Here are 2 links

away-lite test:
http://www.dnyandeep.com//demos/3d/away-test/lite/BodyWithTexture.html

away version 3.4.2 test:
http://www.dnyandeep.com//demos/3d/away-test/3.4.2/BodyWithTexture.html

It looks horribly different and like a ghost. Though, sometimes I feel
that the lighting on body is updated, still it is very strange in
appearance.

Also, to point out: I have been searching regarding if anybody has
such problems. I got a link from which that the developer faced the
same problem that I am having currently. Can you please check what I
need to do exactly (May be you do not need to see the URL as you are
already knowledgeable, but it will help to understand more about my
probelm I believe). The URL is:

http://happyt.wordpress.com/2009/01/11/away3d-normal-map-second-attempt/

In his case, the developer was facing an issue that light was rotating
alongwith model which he did not expect. But the way he has solved it
is not comprehensible to me. Please advise gentlemen. I would really
be thankful as the project's demo is pending only for this sole reason
and demo schedule has almost approached.

Also, I checked that awaylite's Dot3BitmapMaterial gives very good
performance than the FP10 version. So eventually, I will be switching
from regular FP10 branch to awaylite branch as I feel that normal map
material is what the project needs.

I would really like to implement any tests quickly you would like me
to do further to assist you to check if everything is as per away
expects.

@Fabrice: I have exported the normal map from Prefab itself. And I
believe Prefab uses 'object-space' by default which I saw as default
behaviour of NormalMapGenerator class.

Also, I saw in the 3DS Max -> Render -> Render to Texture option.
There are just too many options. Also, the 3D modelling person being a
game model developer (He does not know about 3D in Flash i.e. what
works and what can not), is not sure about what settings will work
while exporting normal map apart from 'object-space/tangent-space/
world/screen'. Especially, I noted that the normal maps he generated
have substantially different colours than prefab generated. His
colours have some 'bluish' colour as background colour probably. It
never worked. The one generated from prefab work (only in away version
3.5) but they have this light rotating issue. If somebody can
document a way and perfect settings to be set while developing normal
map in Max (May be screenshots can do), that can directly be used as
procedure by new away developers. Once I know the way, I can create a
presentation and send back to you which can act as reference for other
developers.

I am really stuck at the moment, please reply and help!! Thanks a
million in advance.
