Hi there, I am new with Away3D.. and actionscript and blender lol. So
I am sorry in advance if I ever ask about stuff that I should know.
Anyway, the question is this: if I have a map of a game, let it be a
plane for simplicity, and for example a car, which is a rectangle at
this stage, how do I go about making it behave like an object with
mass, I mean for now I just want to make sure it sticks to the plane
and falls if going of the edge. Do I have to track every frame if the
car is next to the edge? Should I use ElevationReader and is it bad
for performance? Are there any additional steps in using it, like
creating an elevation map for the ground (which is flat for now)?
Also, If the car just goes like half out of the edge, to I have to
simulate the physics myself (making the front part go down etc) or
does away3d have something on this too? Thank you
