OK, I configured Chrome back to normal (I had disabled the built-in PDF viewer
in favor of downloading and viewing in Acrobat). Browsers are going through a
transition period where old plug-ins and Active-X will no longer be supported.
Going to different search result pages (as indicated below) can work, but only
if you have multiple pages (more than 25 search results).
In playing with both Chrome and Firefox and the built-in viewers, the same
option worked. After viewing a resulting PDF, click on the "Show Previews"
button. It will then toggle to "Show Document" and the search results are
displayed. It is a toggle. Also, if you want to look at a previously viewed
PDF, select the "PDFs" option to scroll through or select a previously viewed
PDF.

Every time I search the database I can only do one search and look at one page.
I go back to the result list and it won't open a new page for me. It always
opens the first page that I touch.
I end up having to exit the whole website. Then, go back in and do the same
search again.
Is there a trick or something I am overlooking? It happens on Firefox and
Chrome
