E; I don’t think you should have any problems. I did not have any with the previous version of FTM from McKiev. I’m still very frustrated with them as when I purchased that copy I thought I was getting what they are now selling, syncing with Ancestry.com, etc. I’ve written back and forth with them, they are VERY SLOW to respond so, I don’t think much of their customer service, but; since today is the last day for the discounted upgrade, I bit the bullet and placed my order. I previously purchased Roots Magic but; just can’t get used to that program after years of using FTM. Plus, when I use RM it gives me all the hints I previously, over the years, have already accepted in my FTM program. I don’t want to go through all of them again. It seems I’m stuck purchasing this new McKiev FTM 2017. Let’s hope it’s smooth sailing from here on out…

So here is my biggest question....Can I have them download the program without disturbing the program I currently have? I plan on backing up what I have on my old FTM program on a flash drive and uploading it to the new McKiev FTM 17 and what takes takes and what does not I will deal with as I have time. Will this work? I can't seem to get them to reply to anything and I do not have a phone number to call them. I do not know how to make a Gedcom so really don't want to go that route.
