Martin, Yes, it does. Thank you for that suggestion. Both mount and unmount work, *IF AND ONLY IF* slot=0 is specified. I did not think to try that, as it has never been needed for a standalone drive before 9.0. Apparently the slot argument is now mandatory, and BAT does not send it. Why the command is not sent to the Storage by the Director unless the slot is specified is a mystery to me.
