No, it's not my machine. It's a known bug in LaunchServices. The initial attempt was to blame it on FileVault, but that's not the case, as many sufferers don't use FileVault. The response from DTS (or whatever they call themselves these days) was: This is a follow up to Bug ID# 6158549. After further investigation it has been determined that this is a known issue, which is currently being investigated by engineering. This issue has been filed in our bug database under the original Bug ID# 5071918.
