I am working from home and the user does not have BBDT Manager. Is there
another way to generate a new encryption key?

The BB Bold is a PITA for BES.  I usually end up having to set up
Blackberry Desktop Manager on the user's PC (must have Outlook
configured on it) and setting it up manually.  When you do it should
automatically ask you to generate a new encryption key.  If it does not
the setting is under options in the email tab of BBDT Manager.

Everyone, 

I have a use with a Bold 9700 who will not activate. I tried all the
standard troubleshooting to no avail. The following shows up in the
event log on the server. We are running 4.1.6 in an Excvhange 2003
environment. Does anyone have any ideas? Do you I need to regenerate the
encryption key? If so can you tell me where to find that? Thanks very
much
