No, they are separate databases, each running on the server itself. I did have both servers running side by side for a while, and I had used the transporter to migrate the IT department over to the new v5 server for testing, but we were holding off moving everyone else.
Here is the basic/cleaned up sequence of events BESv4 hard down, powered off, unplugged, etc. No way it is in the picture any longer. BESv5 added users manually Sent email to users with activation instructions Within a couple of minutes of adding users to BESv5 I noticed that users are showing "last contact time" Got email from user saying he went to activate and there already was an icon saying activation complete, he tested and is working in and out.
