A more careful reading of your message and I realize you are caught by changes in conffig between releases.
If/when you got the new version running somewhere you would see in the help that the way config is done has changed. After you get the update installed on your server you should read ~addons/ide/jhs/jhs_default.ijs and follow the instructions for changing things to allow remote access.
