No, it doesn't work like that. With my library, this setting affects the artists appearing in the artist list, and has nothing to do with the album list. I still have exactly the same number of albums and they still appear under Various Artists alphabetically when browsing by album and sorted by artist name. The effect on the artist list is that the VA artist disappears and the track artists are all shown in the artist list. (Track artists only from compilations, that is. Track artists on non-compilations never appear in the artist list.) Drilling into the track artists shows each album on which they appear, but the album artist shown for each of those albums is exactly as before: Various Artists. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101264 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
