Cached copies of many BGG pages are available on google, if you know how to find them. If you want to read some reviews of a particular game, for example, do an advanced search for "name of game" and the word review, and have google only search boardgamegeek.com. Then when the search results come up and you see something that interests you, click on the "cached" link instead of the link itself. Hope that helps.
