Dear Group,

I related my little story about the traffic lights in Marshfield and how there
is a range to set the
"yellow duration." And since they are a "speed trap" city, they used the
absolute shortest duration
so that heavy vehicles would have difficulty stopping even by "jamming" on the
brakes. But haven't
we all seen how London spies on everybody and we know the current paranoia
about "homeland"
security. And last, we are familiar with the "camel and the tent." ISN'T THIS
FORM OF CAMERA JUST
THE FIRST STEP? Won't technology improve these things as fast as other
technological gizmos? Won't
a million dollars in cameras today be obsolete tomorrow and become replaced by
five million worth of
the latest? What next?

Eric
