Dear Matt Logan, <Matt Logan said:
In any event, I agree that the safety benefits make this bill worth it even if it does not live up to my personal ideal. On Eric's comments... Hmm... Where have I heard them before... Oh yes, at http://www.motorists.org/>> _____________ (response) Of course I did click on your link after you have alerted us to it. It would seem privacy invasion, extortion from motorists, and a general Orwelian society is your bag. Possibly you also back the "Patriot's Act?" Such moves as shortened yellow lights don't really bother me personally. When I do drive to a city and --"high speed" controlled streets > thirty MPH, I simply drive slower than thirty anywhere near the controlled intersections. I am oblivious to traffic backups or general obscenities thrown at me by other motorists. Actually, I have not even driven my cars for two years--which you or listers probably cannot say.
