As best as I can tell, I am not seeing any hotplug events. I have hotplug installed per current LFS-SVN and the '20-hal.hotplug' symlink exists in /etc/hotplug.d/default. > If you start > hal-device-manager (or lshal) and then plug in the device, can you see > the added hardware in the application? *Only* if I start the hal daemon *after* I insert the devices. Without stopping/starting the hald daemon, I see no changes in hal-device-manager.
