Perhaps, we could hear a snippet of the new sounds that you've put in place?
This way we could better appreciate the differences in the two demos?

I go for more realistic. As you said before, it is an ancient tomb , not a
military base. Just my opinion.

Hi,
I just ran the new first level of Monty, and it sounds allot different.
i am not certain if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
I have replaced all metal ladders with wooden ones. This while being
more realistic does feel quite a bit different then the original Monty.
Another change was I updated the ground levels with dirt instead of
sand. As a result the new dirt step effect sounds like a mixture of
crunching dirt and sometimes crunching gravel. Very real sounding, but I
think all of us who were use to sand kind a bit of shock.
I am now debating with myself if I am not over doing the realism to
much. i know many of you want me to finish the game and stick as much as
possible to the original game plan. This while only cosmetic does change
the environment quite a bit. I am not certain this is a good thing after
all. What do you guys think?
Do you guys want something more realistic, or do you want it to sound
like the classic original demo?
