Hi all, I've followed this thread with interest and, frankly, I think you're all looking at the problem the wrong way. First, we need to identify the problem. Once this is done, the solution becomes very simple. The problem is not the faucet but, rather, it is the children. The faucet doesn't need modification. The children need an attitude change. My dad's favorite attitude changer was his belt. He had a simple approach to most problems involving misbehaving children. Identify the problem, apply the attitude changer, repeat if necessary. It worked for me and my siblings and every other kid in the neighborhood in which I was raised. Give it a try. I think you'll be surprised at the results.
