Scott, You have gotten lots of answers here. I just want to say that if you are cutting a piece with outside corners at either end, well no matter which way the corners go, the problem is accurately measuring exactly where the saw blade will cut the piece of trim.
It is easy if you are cutting a 90, but once you start turning the blade, it makes it difficult to get a measuring instrument rught up against where you need to measure to.
