Hi Rhonda,

Although I do realize there are no guarantees with any
computer type of equipment, so far, I've had no problems with my mPower
losing files. Even with all the resets due to the battery issue already
discussed, I've not lost any files. And, with regards to that battery
issue, at least for now, anyway, I've just kind of decided to live with it.
I mean, of course I wouldn't want to take the mPower out with me without its
charger should the battery get below forty percent. But, on the other hand,
when I know the battery is that low, then I'm willing to just kind of keep
a watch on how fast the charge is dropping, and of course be very near an
electrical outlet. Also, I do backup regularly and remove any cards from
the unit when not in use.

Subject: re: [Braillenote] losing files

Hi List:

This is an interesting subject. I spoke with Roger Behm from
Adaptive Information. The problem of losing files is one he says
he has not seen. I am interested in how many people lose files
compared to those who don't. I know of a couple of people
wanting to purchase the M Power, but are now feeling reluctant to
do so.
