How do you get DVS on DVD? My problem is that I only get VHS, so
a program must take the input from the VCR and digitize it. Some
legal thing, or space, or something has prevented DVS from going
digital. Which country do you live in? Maybe things are
different there?

Hello Alex:
I use a wonderful program called Iimtoo. It will RIP DVD's into
just about
every format imaginable including .mp3. This was actually a
Jonathan find
from a year or so ago. The demo is free and the whole program
costs
something like $29.
As an aside, you can also get a little program from NCH audio
called Switch
which will allow you to convert from and to just about every
audio format
available. It's free and worth much more
