Hey all, have you tried using the web version of MSN Messenger? If not, then you could be missing out! You can in fact use MSN Messenger on a BrailleNote, however you have to do it through a web site. A proper chat client would be nice, but hey, it's a compromize isn't it? Try it! Well stated Chris! I have found the BrailleNote M-power QT-32 I own to be far more stable than PAC Mate. Here is something else to consider: I just went through an upgrade from 7.2 to 7.5. I lost absolutely none of my data because it is stored in a partition totally separate from where the system files are located. I didn't even have to touch E-mail settings or wireless network configurations. I was simply using it within seconds after the upgrade finished. Try that with a PAC Mate. By the way, if I want to use MSN Messenger, I'll just do that on my Dell Axim 51V running Mobile-Speak which also supports Avantgo 6... which the PAC Mate Omni will not support upon release... another step back for PAC Mate users. First, The PM is the better choice if you actually want to be running Windows. Second, my sense from the discussions on this list, is that the PM does a much better job of handling Word documents. 3. The PM does run Instant Messenger, so that would be something to consider if it is important to you. I also have the impression that BN users have to perform resets much more frequently, though that could be just an impression. Just some food for thought.
