Well, the SMA would be like $500 and the Braille displays are
quite expensive, so yes, I guess I have to say that it does sound
right from a business standpoint. Any time you opt for a braille
display, it's expensive. I wish it were not so, but it is. I
totZ love Braille, and do not want to go back to something like
the Braille not Speak with no Braille display. So I guess if I
want a Notetaker, I'll have to pay the piper. When it comes to
techie stuff, if you uste the words medical, boat, airplane,
medical, blind or disabled, the tech prices seem to jump. Fair?
Nope. Reality? Yup. I'm just very grateful to have what I
have, actually. Could it be better? Yes! Does it frustrate me
sometimes? Sure. But putting things into perspective, at least
we have the technology that wasn't even available ten years ago.
Sure enough Humanware needs to fix some things, but Rome wasn't
built in a day, and neither will the perfect notetaker be built
