Thanks to all that offered advice for my battery issue. After doing a J K L 
reset it seems to be working. However I heard from my local humanware today 
and they have instructed me to send the battery back and they will send me a 
new one for no cost. Even though it is working now I will send off for the 
replacement battery because I just don't think I can trust this battery. I 
would feel much happier changing batteries now while I can use the Apex on 
AC instead of being at  work in the new year and it going again and I don't 
have a charger at work so I wouldn't be able to use it at all.
