Hi Tony,
Bought a B2 about 2006, and have had it on a timer with daily use since then. I
have replaced a few parts, nothing major or unexpected.

I upgraded the machine to rotary and PID about a year ago (WLL kits), and the
difference in noise is significant. I would estimate half as loud with rotary
and waaaaaaaaay more convenient, especially if you plumb the drip tray also,
and dampen rattling parts. I would never consider going back to vibe.

Todd at WLL is a superstar, and will give you very personal help when you need
it. However, I have always found dealing with the regular WLL folks to be less
than ideal. Phone calls almost never get returned on time, parts ship late or
with significant delays and you get no notification. I hate to say these things
because I love Todd and have sung his praises many times here, but as I've told
him many times, he has a problem inside the company. Just stuff to know as you
go into this purchase. If you are not comfortable servicing the machine, you
may find yourself without a machine for several months if you send it in for
warranty work. I'm sure others will chime in here on both sides which would be
appropriate.

Also look at the Alex on Chris Coffee, a roughly equivalent machine.

Best,
bmc
