> > Thank you Ira and Todd,
Todd, my Brewtus IV Rotary does not have a little red reset button, neither on the brew boiler nor the steam boiler. However, I'm sure its the same thing and that's a little brass peg in between the power connectors on the top of the brew boiler. I did push on that but I don't think it was tripped. Ira, good suggestion on the voltmeter. I knew I'd get use of that digital multimeter I bought at Canadian Tire way back when. I tested the voltage on the steam boiler first. Remember the steam boiler works just fine. The steam boiler was getting 120 volts. Same thing with the brew boiler. I turned OFF the steam boiler with the main switch on the unit and ONLY turned on the brew boiler. The volt meter again showed 120 volts so that's good. Does this mean that the heater is faulty? I see on there are a couple of bolts that would be removed with a hex wrench (allen key here in Canada). Assuming you think it is the heater element, do all I need to do is remove the small hex bolts and replace the heater? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
