there is sort of a reset option without opening the cover but given your 
description, it is almost certain not to do what you want. But, at least 
its easy. Turn off your Brewtus and hold the right hand button on the PID 
and turn it on while you are holding the button. That resets the PID to the 
factory settings. As I said, that probably won't do anything but given how 
easy it is, its worth a shot.

You'll have much better success taking the cover off your Brewtus. On both 
the brew boiler and the steam boiler, there is a small 'peg' which is the 
reset button. I've heard on some models this is red in colour. On my 
Brewtus IV, it is not red but just a brass button. Give that a push and see 
what happens.
