I have also considered a new machine, and moving this one to the GF's house,  
but haven't done enough serious looking to have anything really catch my eye.   
You guys we're here before me when I joined this merry little band in I think 
2006, so I look forward to learning what machines you are leaning towards.  It 
certainly is a different market than when I first started looking after my 
first little Krups machine died.  And I lost the taste for Cafe Bustelo.  Then 
I bought a super auto that couldn't come close to making espresso, found the 
highly reviewed B11 and here I am.

I still mutter "mmm that's good " after the first sip.
