It seems to me that the methods for assessing spirit have been inconsistent this (and previous) year, even within one Tour system - some tournaments have used the 10-point system, some have used the 3-2-1 system, and it's possible that some have just used just one nomination per team.
Was there not a 'standard' issued by the UKUA this year? Is it one little detail that has slipped past the TDs? Perhaps there should be a standard, next year? Along with recomendations on the options/best way of obtaining/submitting these scores (e.g. scorekeepers / text / results at the end of each game / results at the end of the tournament) The current method(s) don't seem to be ideal... It also strikes me that there may be a need to have more than one SOTG trophy to hand - sometimes there's the 'issue' of having the SOTG award 'split' between 2 teams.
