Just one question on Venues.

There have been many good venues we've used - Luke mentioned some.
We have heard that we don't get enough bids for hosting tournaments though. Fair point.

So... has there ever been an effort to set up a list of good venues for prospective TD's to access? It seems to me (maybe I'm wrong) that bids come from people booking their local venues they know well. But why not facilitate a system whereby people who wish to run a tournament can easily get information on past proven tour venues.

Is living locally really such an important pre-requisite? (I genuinely don't know, I'm curious)

If UKU has a nice accessible list of venues - with important details like:
- contact numbers to talk to the owners
- numbers of pitches available
- costs from past experiences
- other local support services (physios, 1st aiders etc)
- a nice summary of the pros and cons of the venue
etc...

Would this enable more bids to come in from prospective TOs who at the moment don't have venues? Would anyone be keen to run a tournament at a venue not local to them (but well proven in the Ultimate community)? Would existing TDs not want to 'give up their location' to anyone else?
