What!? I read this several times and still can't believe what I've just seen. Did no-one even consider looking at http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=w4+2sh&sll=51. 242392,-0.172088&sspn=0.006408,0.013733&ie=UTF8&ll=51.474434,-0.260968&spn=0 .006375,0.013733&t=h&z=16 (or equivalent) and asking exactly where/how the TD was hoping to put 25 pitches? Just to clarify... I'm not taking shots at the TD, but I probably am taking a shot at the UKUA - I'm astounded that a check even this simple wasn't conducted. Could someone please detail precisely what information from a bid document is checked for reasonability? E.g. will you tell me if my bid doesn't include enough toilets, showers, etc? Last time I checked, the bid doc does require information about most features of a tournament, and I'd rather hope that the information required is actually used for something! --- Wayne Retter wayne[dot]wrecker[at]ntlworld[dot]com __________________________________________________ BritDisc mailing list [email protected] http://www.fysh.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/britdisc Staying informed - http://www.ukultimate.com/staying-informed
