William, et al,

As a long time Ham and BVARC member......I know that the club has in the
past deleted members info on the membership list, which IS public, at their
request. No problem. However, please remember that "Once you are a US
government licensed Ham, your call, address etc. is open to the world,
unfortunately. Plus, a little more digging on free sites gives you full
details on you (and me) etc.

I Googled your call, William, and no reference to BVARC came up, just as an
FYI....... but all the rest of the normal, QRZ, FCC, Radio Reference sites,
etc. came up readily available outside of BVARC.

*If y'all are worried about privacy you should not be a government licensed
anything, as all of that data is public and available on-line.*

As an adjunct topic........You do know that anything you say or do on the
air -- HF, VHF, etc. is an open forum. Not only the hams participating in
the net can hear you but also scanner monitors and short wave listeners.
Case in point: We had a new member a few years back that was divulging
too much information on the repeater. Kids names, schools, times, etc and
much more. He was advised to cut back on the info discussed, and did,
thank goodness.
