The reality is that there is no perfect configuration as everyone has different needs. So, perhaps the optimal might be for them to get a standard OEM install of Ubuntu with a CD for the rest. In that way we avoid any potential question of selling copyrighted software without a license (e.g. Adobe's Flash) and any potential legal pitfalls of circumventing encryption (e.g. libdvdcss).
