Glenn, I guess what I don't understand is the DVD is already being done for the SXCE builds. Why not extend it to OpenSolaris? Using the Distribution Constructor may not be difficult for someone who is experienced with it, but I believe it would take a fair amount of time to figure it out. Multiply that out by everyone who would benefit from the DVD "build" and you'll have hundred or thousands of hours invested . It seems like an impractical solution for those who just want to install a few extra packages and not have to build their own distros. Most people, including myself are just wanting an easy way to install packages when they don't have internet connectivity.
