Would it be better to add it as an optional flag or a mandatory argument? And is this script called anywhere other than these two installers?
Mandatory would be preferred, since you don't need to provide compatibility to other, unsynchronized consumers. It's called from the GUI as well, but that is liborchestrator code that is shared between AI and GUI.

We would imagine that there is but couldn't come up with one. We were thinking that we would have to change the script to require an extra argument specifying whether the installed system had graphics or not. This is actually a general problem in the ICT design - it attempts to infer its actions based on artifacts in the image rather than from direct instruction by the calling program, which of course knows what type of installation is being done. It may be beyond the scope of what you can do in the time allotted, but if possible it would be good to pass an arg to install-finish instead. +1 to adding an arg to install-finish - Keith Dave _______________________________________________ caiman-discuss mailing list [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/caiman-discuss
