Mike from what you describe it could possible be a case of just having the injectors cleaned and reset take them out and make hast to your nearest diesel injector specialist and he should have them done within a couple of hours, reinstall, things will certainly be better and more frequent oil changes will not go amiss, change the filter at the same time.
