Mike, if no-one else responds  with a  step by step guide let me know
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and I will try to do one when I am back from
Crick. (I think it can only involves 4 nuts & 2 pipe unions!)

years of reliable, if a bit smokey, life left in the engine yet.

It is going to get harder to start from cold as the bores/compression
rings wear and smoke more as the oil rings wear.

the bearings are wearing. Just keep chaging the oil as recomended,
but please make sure you are not leaking fuel into the oil - you an
usually smell it on the dipstick.
