Amazing what happens on this list. Thank you. We need all the help we can get.
We are getting nb Rebecca Saturday afternoon. Not having a Nicholson's at hand I thought that the trip from Warwick to Coventry would be easier than going the other way. Ten years ago we boarded nb "Olivia Ginger" at bridge 49 and I remember the flight that we worked, while jet lagged, as we headed toward Birmingham, and thought I wouldn't want to do it again. We were on the second half of a 2 week holiday and had to work long days with out much sighseeing to get back to Stone on time. Don't want to be under that much pressure this time. Should we reconsider and head for Stratford instead? Suggestions welcomed. We have only a week, and do not have delusions of grandure - meaning that our goal is a pleasant trip - not a marathon destination to destination for long hours each day. We will be able to moor the boat at do some sightseeing from her. As the song says "They're coming back to the water" and I want to enjoy the water and the scenery. Phil planned and accomplished a much more vigorous holiday on the same boat a number of years ago. Guy, are you the one who wrote the diary of your trip on nb Dorothy Constance? I'd love to read it again if it is available. Do you still have nb Thorn? That had to be at least 10 years ago if you are the same person. Jane [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
