Will the tide "make" at Naburn earlier than the fix? So you could just sail over the weir, or just get the lockie to open the gates and sail straight through. I don't know why they don't just get a big board on a pole/post and use it to stop up the open hole. Typical BW bods these days, just don't understand what they are looking after.
