Umm, well you could do it that way of course, [long pause while he 
desperately tries to think of an excuse for being so dense - spots 
original posting, and notices bit about sailing over the weir] but your 
original posting did talk about the tide making at Naburn so you could 
sail over the weir.

Just back from a wander around the National Rail Museum - as I said, 
there are worse places to be stranded.
