If you use your anchor in salt water a little fresh rain water to wash off the rode is not a bad thing. The weep hole is clear and I put a couple of short 2x4's in it to raise the line but the real problem is the indention in the cover that allows the rain in. I tried a rag to block it but it just acted like a wick. I'll try a weather stripping attempt next but I'm sure there is a better idea out there. Thanks Russ Change your thinking, change your life.
