Nope, no wars in my youth other then desert storm. (Didn't look like the 
armed forces needed much help in that one, but then again there was a 
republican president in office for it :) ).

I wouldn't make a good leader of the armed forces. I havn't experienced 
seeing one of my friends die in my hands, or the fear when your line is 
being overrun, etc. I would want a leader that has experienced that, and 
knows how serious the sacrifice is before sending others into it.

Maybe it was a bad idea to make the president commander of all armed forces.
