Not the same situation at all. A collection of cells that cannot exist
outside the womb should have the same moral equivalency of a child with a
personality, the start of an education, and some idea of right vs. wrong?

What about the 12 year old who gets gang raped, or gets sexually assaulted
by her father? Should she carry the fetus to term, with all the destruction
it would entail in her life. So you're saying that a collection of
undifferentiated cells has the right to destroy that child?

How about the cells in storage in fertility clinics? Fertility treatments
commonly result in quite a few fertilized and viable blastocysts, all but
one or two are not implanted. By your rationale keeping those frozen, or
disposing of them is murder. Are you willing to be a brood mare for them
all?
