There was an obvious tie to Watergate since the subject was a breakin.  The republican in the story was spewing out conjecture and associating John Kerry with the breakins.  I don't have to prove he didn't do it (and I'm sure he was not involved).  The real question should be about the guy making the initial accusations.

How does he know?

And, no, I don't condone criminal behavior.
