Thanks Patrick.. Good advice. We have all the info on the bulldogs as people in my family have always had them in addition to information our next door neighbor who is a vet gave us. The mastiff on the other hand caught our eye from the sheer look of it... Just a solid looking dog with a great color to it.... We started doing a little reading up on the mastiff and will definitely take your advice and talk to someone who knows a lot about them and their temperment, etc!
