Most people outside of Paris buy box wine which is to say that they go to the vineyard and fill up their box and are most likely not familiar with many other wines, much less experts. Wine is what you like and, like everything, the more you drink the more you zero in on what you like. I know 1 wine master and many collectors and I can tell you that what they say is good I don't drink and many of those bottles are well into the hundreds and thousands. Listen to a wine master (although chances are you'll never find one to talk too) or someone with over 100 bottles. Right now I'm drinking Yellow Tail Shiraz Reserve ~$10 which I like fine. I also have some Malbecs like Trapiche (sp?) which I like and a Malbec-Cab blend which is a bit more full due to the Cab. All about $10. My advice is to find some grapes you like and then try to start zooming in on them - experiment with regions, years, and vineyard's. Buy a spendy ones and taste them next to less expensive. Are they better? If not don't waste your money. What usually happens if you stay below $15 is that you'll drink more wine and then one day you'll have one you really like and the fire will be lit! PS - don't listen to me - I only have about 20 bottles right now. :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Captivate from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=52 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:150303 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
