When in a wine region always buy the local stuff. No sulfites.
Especially when in France, Italy or California. Problem with NY is
even the best regional wine isn't good. Unless you like cheap port :)
Long Island had a few decent Chateau wines but I never wrote them
down. They're very hard to find and expensive when you do. Pindar is
the popular LI one but it's awful. I'm hearing good things about
Washington state wine.
