Here's where you and I disagree: if you believe what you said above
then you think that the government should make family medical
decisions and that each or our constitutional rights to refuse medical
treatment should be revoked.

Put another way, I think I should be able to decide what medical
treatment I get and, if I can't decide, I think my wife should be able
to decide in my stead.

You think that if I can't decide the government should decide.

So the difference is, when it comes to who decides medical treatment
options, at least in the case of life decisions, you feel the
government is the best authority to decide and I think individuals and
familys are.
