Well that was just high school, but yeah, gun packing Lexington police
officers patrolling the hall ways. Even the schools in the good
neighborhoods had police officers there at all times. Fights and drugs
were a problem at times.

The middle schools may have them now, but in high school they are the
ones that take care of student discipline. I think on average one
student was arrested per day in my high school. But that is how they
dealt with the ones that caused problems. Remove them, if needed arrest
them, and sometimes actually send them to jail. Drugs and fighting were
the common problems, however the people that went to class rarely ever
had to deal with those problems. The trouble makers didn't go to class.
